Assistant Professor/Faculty and Graduate Services Librarian
The K-State Salina Library is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor/Faculty and Graduate Services Librarian. This position provides research and instructional support for the faculty and graduate students at K-State Salina and provides proactive leadership in all aspects of mediated learning.Essential Functions
MLS from an ALA accredited institution. Understanding of scholarly communication trends. Experience providing reference services in a library environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated experience in digital media and web design. Experience with web-based distance learning demonstrated through the creation of online learning environments.Preferred Qualifications
This is a full-time, twelve-month, tenure-track faculty position. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. Some evening and weekends are required.
