Welcome to the online version of K-State Salina! The College of Technology and Aviation is the newest Kansas State College having become a part of the family in 1991. Since that time, the College has grown to over 1000 students.

This College has a proud history of excellence in Engineering Technology and Aviation. Moreover, our faculty and staff remain committed to creating an academic atmosphere that not only allows you to succeed, but encourages you to excel. K-State Salina offers the benefits of a small college atmosphere where you, as an individual, can make an impact on student life and community action while pursuing your academic goals.

Our alumni have enjoyed careers ranging from private business to consulting to design and development to management to corporate flight director to major airline captain. Our faculty and staff strive to keep our educational programs and laboratories on the cutting edge of technology that is currently being used in industry.

For example, our Electronic & Computer Engineering Technology program includes instruction using a signal analyzer, an instrument not currently found in many programs in the nation. Our unique transportation program within our Professional Pilot program offers our students the opportunity for “flying laboratory” experiences in a corporate setting using a Beech King Air or a Cessna CitationJet. These are but two examples that provide our graduates opportunities for excellence.
