Alumnus
establishes scholarship for K-State Salina
MANHATTAN, KAN. Ñ John Vanier, Salina, Kan., has made a gift of $100,000 to the Kansas State University Foundation to establish the John K. Vanier II Scholarship.
The John K. Vanier II Scholarship provides support for qualified students enrolled in the College of Technology and Aviation located at Kansas State University-Salina.
Vanier is a 1981 graduate of Kansas State
University with a bachelorÕs degree in agricultural economics. While in
college, he was a member of the KSU Flying Club and is a licensed pilot.
Vanier is a member of Presidents Club, a
leadership organization for friends and alumni of K-State. He is also a member
of the development council for the College of Technology and Aviation.
