SALINA – Seven Kansas State University at Salina students were selected for the 2005-2006 class of K-State at Salina ambassadors. The ambassadors program was begun in 2002 on the Salina campus to support new student recruitment and public relations programs.

The seven new members will join five returning ambassadors this fall to assist with a variety of projects, including giving campus tours for prospective students and other campus guests, assisting with special events on campus, providing leadership on student panels, greeting and visiting with dignitaries and VIPs, attending alumni events and helping to plan and implement the annual All-University Open House.

“These responsibilities require the very best students on campus in order to best represent what K-State at Salina has to offer,” said Dennis Kuhlman, dean of the college. “We are all pleased with the enthusiasm of these seven outstanding students and proud that they have chosen such a meaningful way to support their college.”
