K-STATE SALINA STUDENT DIES IN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT

SALINA - Jared M. Stubblefield, Marshall, Mo., died following an automobile accident near his home Monday morning, June 2. He recently had completed his freshman year at Kansas State University in the College of Technology and Aviation, on the Salina campus. He was majoring in airway science-professional pilot and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Jolene Stubblefield, and one sister, all of Marshall.

Funeral services will be held in Marshall on Friday. Dixie Schierlman, associate dean of student life in Salina, said a campus memorial service will be held for Stubblefield when classes resume in August so that students and faculty not on campus for the summer may attend.
