CAMP TO SHOW GIRLS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MATH, COOKING

SALINA – Girls 8-12 years-old can explore the relationship between math and cooking during Cooking with Fractions camp at K-State at Salina.

Campers will discover what fractions and improper fractions are, learn how to figure equal parts and provide hands-on opportunities to apply that knowledge to cooking and following recipes.

The camp runs Aug. 3-5. The registration deadline is Monday, July 27.
