K-STATE AT SALINA STUDENTS TO PROVIDE SAFE TRICK-OR-TREATING ENVIRONMENT

K-State at Salina students will provide little ghosts and goblins (and kids in other costumes) with more treats than tricks at their annual Trunk-or-Treat event.

For the last five years, students decorate vehicles with Halloween themes, dress in costume, and pass out candy to local children.

“Trunk-or-Treat provides a safe place for people to bring their kids trick-or-treating,” said Kara Godsil, Kansas City, Kan., sophomore and president of Women In Aviation, the club organizing the event. “And it lets us college kids have fun, too.”

Parents can bring their kids “Trunk-or-Treating” from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, in the parking lot south of College Center on the K-State at Salina campus.
