Academic Resources for the Pre-College Program
Students who are in the pre-college program pay fees for courses that gives, access to on campus services such as peer tutoring, peer financial counseling, Library services and the Writing Center. These services provide assistance to students outside the classroom for courses where students typically experience difficulty.
Peer Tutoring - Our peer tutors have successfully mastered the course material and come highly recommended by faculty. Peer tutoring is free and is available for several undergraduate courses.

Writing Center - Tutoring for writing in any course is available in the Writing Center, located in Room 102 of the Technology Center.

Library Services - The K-State at Salina Library welcomes and supports all people in their enjoyment of reading and pursuit of lifelong learning. Working together, we strive to provide equal access to information, ideas and knowledge through books, electronic databases, programs and other resources. Peer Financial Counseling - Peer financial counseling provides free information and education for current students who are seeking assistance with: developing a personal budget, understanding student loans, managing credit cards, creating a savings plan, accessing money management tools and resources.
The goal is to provide helpful tools and information to support students' financial goals as they work towards accomplishing their academic goals.

To schedule a session for the Writing Center, Peer Financial Counseling, or Peer Tutoring:
- Visit: http://ksu.mywconline.com
- Follow the registration link.
- Enter all required registration information. Note: You MUST use your @ksu email address instead of your @k-state.edu email address.
- Click Register
- Your window will be redirected to the Log-in page. Please enter your KSU email address password.
- You will need to choose the designated program from a list of three: Peer Tutoring, Writing Center, or Peer Financial Counseling. Select the appropriate schedule.
