SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
2. Download and fill out the application. Mail or deliver it by April 30 for Fall funding
and
November 30 for Spring funding to:
ELITE Program

K-State at Salina
2310 Centennial Rd.
Salina, KS 67401
(Please complete every item on the application and sign and date it. Applications are considered after priority deadline until all scholarships are awarded.)
3. Have three letters of recommendation sent to above address
(Fill in your name, phone number and email address on the reference letter instruction forms and give them to the individuals who will write letters of recommendation on your behalf)
4. Submit an essay (typed, double-spaced with 1-inch margins on 8.5 by 11-inch paper and no more than two pages long describing:

your career goal(s),
-
your reasons for choosing the career goal(s),
-
what you have done so far to prepare yourself for your career,
-
why you need financial aid, and
-
why you are interested in engineering technology program.
5. Have results of completed Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) on file at the financial aid office at K-State at Salina. (Institution number 001928). If you need help filling out the FAFSA form, contact the financial aid office.
6. If you have less than 30 hours in college (technical/community or university), attach an official high school transcript along with:

your official transcript if you’re a current K-State student or
-
your evaluated transcript if you’re a first year transfer student.
7. If you have more than 30 hours in college, attach your official K-State transcript if you’re a current K-State student or your evaluated transcript if you’re a first year transfer student.
