The construction industry continues to lead the country in terms of annual dollar volume of work. National contractor organizations state that hundreds of graduates a year can find employment in the industry. Each year, jobs go unfilled due to the shortage of qualified individuals. This shortage means more job opportunities for those with the proper education.

The construction engineering technology program at K-State at Salina prepares you for a career in the construction industry. With an emphasis on the assembly of building materials and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, the program covers mathematics, science and engineering methods. It also provides a hands-on learning environment with labs and field work.
