1.5. Wing-101ΒΆ

Although IDLE, the programming environment that comes with Python, is adequate to get started using Python, you may eventually want a slightly more advanced integrated development environment (IDE), which includes better debugging tools. K-State at Salina has decided to begin using the Wing-101 IDE for classes using Python (probably in addition to IDLE). Wing-101, is a free, basic edition of the Wing-IDE, which is well suited for students who are fairly new to Python. The top of the line Wing IDE Professional, is generally regarded as the most advanced IDE for Python, but it is far from free. To learn more about and download Wing IDE 101, see the Wing IDE 101 product page
