The library catalog contains records for books, videos, journals
and other items owned by the K-State at Salina Library.

Databases
LexisNexis
Academic (Citations, Abstracts, and Full-Text)
Lexis/Nexis Academic is a full-text database which focuses primarily
on business, legal and news resources. Included in the database
are law reports, company filings, journal and newspaper articles,
broadcast transcripts, etc.
(Use on campus or Log-In for off campus use)
ABI/INFORM
Trade & Industry
Provides full text documents, as well as scholarly journals including
peer reviewed. Subject areas are: Accounting & Tax, Business/Dateline,
Business/Global and Business/Trade & Industry. Enter subject,
select one of four databases and go to search. Currency includes
7 days to one year. Also includes area for specific dates.
E-Journals
These pages reflect titles with full text available. Titles may
be linked directly to the provider's database, to a website with
citation information, or to a journal homepage.

- Is an author listed? What are the author's
credentials? Does the author provide contact
information?
- Has the author taken care to check for misspelling, poor
grammar, etc.?

- Does the author acknowledge all views?

- Is the author fair and objective?
- Is the author concerned with the truth?

- Does the author provide support for the information?

- Are there other resources with similar information?

Search Tips
