KDOT will also enter certification information for KDOT via CMS.

Book

Books for all classes, except the Inspection Classes, will be mailed to the student at least two weeks prior to the beginning of class. If the student fails to bring the book that was mailed and KSU-Salina provides them with another book the student will be charged the cost of both books.

Test Results

All testing for the Certified Inspection Training Program is divided into two sections: American Concrete Institute (ACI) tests and Kansas Department of Transportation tests. In both cases, test results can and will only be reported to the individual who took the test. The CIT  Program office will send a letter to the individual if they took the KDOT test and ACI will send a letter to the individual if they took the ACI test indicating their results. All test results are reported to the KDOT Engineering Technician Training Coordinator. It is the responsibility of the supervisor to check with the individual regarding certification. In order for supervisors to receive certification results a waiver signed by the individual certified must be on file in the CIT office. The waiver form may be obtained by contacting the CIT Program Office. The CIT office will not report test results over the telephone.
