Student Employment
The Office of Residence Life has many employment opportunities through out the year. Each school year resident assistants and community mentors are hired, as well as a Reception Desk Assistant (RDA). The application process begins in Early November and announcements are made at the beginning of the Spring Semester. During the summer, several positions are open for Summer Conference Assistants (SCA). The SCA provides support to the summer residents much like a RA would during the year, but also helps with conferences the university may host during the summer. Compensation for the RDA, RA, and SCA are minimum wage. RAs and SCA are also provided room and board stipends. The Office of Residence Life also hires a student worker for general office work for the fall, spring, and summer, as well as several general maintenance positions for the summer.
