STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTER

The Student Activity Center (SAC) is where K-Staters go for fun! Billiards, ping pong, air hockey, a big screen TV, board games, sand volleyball, and PlayStation 2 are some of the reasons students come to the SAC.

ROOMS/OFFICES:

• 2 conference rooms & a shelter house for study groups, class meetings, or student organization use
• Student Governing Association offices

COMPUTER USAGE
The computer is not to be used by anyone other than SAC Assistants.

EQUIPMENT CHECKOUT (Games, Equipment, etc.)
Only the SAC Assistant on duty can check out materials. Students must present a valid student ID and sign the equipment checkout form to take equipment outside or away from the building. Those abusing the equipment will be asked to leave the Student Activity Center for the rest of the day. Continued abuse over a period of time will result in a ban from usage. When there are several students wanting to use the same equipment, usage is limited to 30 minutes. The SAC Assistant has final discretion regarding these policies until the Assistant Director of College Advancement for Student Life can be consulted.

LOST AND FOUND
There is a lost and found box located in the SAC. If you have lost an item, please contact a SAC assistant. Found items will regularly be transferred to campus security.

NOISE LEVEL
The noise should be kept at a reasonable level. Have fun, but keep in mind groups may be meeting and / or students may be studying. Take care to not turn the sound system to an unreasonable level-you are responsible for any damage or blown speakers.

PHONE USE
Students may borrow the phone for local calls; however, these calls should be limited to 3 minutes or less.

PLAYSTATION 2
You must present a KSU Student ID or picture ID to play. All those playing must sign the "Break It, Buy It" policy. Those abusing the PlayStation 2, games, or equipment will be asked to leave the Student Activity Center for the rest of the day. Continued abuse over a period of time will result in a ban from use of the PlayStation 2. When there is a line, time use of the television and / or PlayStation 2 is limited to 30 minutes, or the end of game, movie, or TV show. The SAC Assistant has final discretion regarding these policies until the Assistant Director of College Advancement for Student Life can be consulted.

TRESPASSERS/LOITERS
Non-students who are trespassing or loitering will be reported to Security.
