National Fire Prevention Week
Oct. 4-10 is National Fire Prevention Week and this years theme is, "Stay Fire Smart! Don't Get Burned." To celebrate Fire Prevention Week, K-State's Division of Public Safety, The Salina Fire Department and the Kansas Forestry Service have activities planned on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 10 am to 3 pm east of the College Center.
Activities will include free fire extinguisher training, free fire hats, free educational materials, door prizes, fire fighting displays and plenty of good fire safety advice. Please join us in celebrating this important event and remember, by practicing good fire safety the life you save may be your own.
